Any recommendations on where to get the inspection done in the Boston/North Shore area where they won’t destroy your battery rails when inspecting the suspension?

I’ve had mine done at Bonnell Ford in Winchester a few times.
Are dealers damaging cars doing inspections?

Yes to Bonnell. I just got my sticker there last month. $70 for the inspection and a tire rotation, seemed very reasonable. Had to decline a bunch of other services like brake and alignment checks they wanted to add on.

Thanks! Did not realize Bonnell did them. Most dealers I’ve dealt with in the past didnt do inspections so I was mostly worried about having to go to an independent garage somewhere and having them damage the car while inspecting the suspension.

I go to our local Sunoco in Newburyport, they have never lifted my EV in 8 years of inspections, they are great, a quick in and out and it just cost the flat $36 or whatever the state charges. Every year they chuckle and say "its an EV what are we supposed to inspect"
