I’m not sure that really applies here.
People usually complain that the range is below advertised and not, I’m taking a trip and I’m worried I can’t make the charger because of the 20 mile loss in range.
I don't get your problem. Are hoping to be able to use the whole 270 miles it says you should get before you'll stop and charge? If you're going somewhere that chargers are more than 250 miles apart, I'd suggest taking a different route or car.

As someone who knew I could roll over a mile from the top of Valley Forge Mountain into my garage in neutral on 0 miles left in my Toyota Venza, I don't want to be draining my battery below 25% if I can help it in my MME.

I suggest you learn how many miles you may have left at 25% to determine when you'll want to to stop and charge...no different from an ICE car getting to 1/4 of a tank.

You probably never drove a jeep Cherokee. Ours has less range than out 2022 GTPE. The 2016 Jeep has like a 14 gallon tank and gets under 20MPG,

LOL the 1st Generation Chevy Blazer had an 18 gallon tank. At 9mpg in town and 14-15 on the highway it must have been horrible. I am glad mine has a 40 gallon cell on it. Well, except then it comes time to fill it. ??
