Saw the the gas version tonight and got a chance to sit in it. I'm smitten. The second row is usable unlike the Volvo EX30 (sat in one in early March at a dealer showing along with the EX90). The electric version is exactly the same minus the tow hitch.

The infotainment is an upgrade of the previous MINI one and the audio system is best I've heard except for the BMW iX with B&W.

The only negative is that it is large for a MINI. It's larger than a Kia Soul. Larger than the EX30. Would be comparable to a Bolt EUV but far more style and maybe more space.

The electric versions are being built in June and will arrive in the US in Sept.

Last week for the Earth Day event, the prices is right we’re giving away electric vehicles all day. One of them was the mini Cooper. So I think the showcase had a vacation to New Zealand and something else plus the electric mini Cooper I bid 25,000 the lady said I almost fell over. I told my wife the car is probably 38,000. I think the whole package ended up being 45.

The MINI electric starts at $30K but most trims are $37K. MINI is offering $9-11K rebates on lease - which you can buy out immediately. The MINI SE and BMW i4 are probably my two favorite EVs I've owned. My bum left knee had other ideas.

I’ve always loved a 4, 5 or 6 on the floor, now that I’m older and the wife’s older she don’t like all the jerking around, which is the fun part driving a stick so before I got the electric one, I ordered a brand new 24 California special with every option you could get when I took a test drive in the electric one. I’m like I’m having second thoughts, plus the electric one came down about $14,000 to about 53, but the ICE over 60, plus I would’ve had to use premium gas insurance was more. I’m happy with what I bought. I just don’t want all the damn trouble we’re having or hearing.
