I purchased an OBDLink CX mostly to use with ABRP but have noticed that many of the expected PIDs are not available including HVB SoC. I have tried using the OBDLink app, Car Scanner, and ABRP and the HVB Soc is not available in any of them.

I added a screenshot of one of the pages in the Car Scanner dashboard. I know this setup works for others here. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Try the TorquePro app? I just have a cheapo bt obd dongle and it works fine with both carscanner and torquepro.

*I did have to find and import a bunch of pids though, for tp, before it would show me much data.

I can certainly give TorquePro a try but these PIDs aren't coming up in 3 different apps so I am wondering if Ford changed the mapping for the 2025. How did you find pids to import? I have tried any of the profiles that make sense in Car Scanner and the one in the screenshot is the one that most people seem to use.

There's another profile in Car Scanner, seemingly for the latest model years. Reinstalling the app and selecting this profile might solve your issue:

Did you ever figure the issue out? I am having the same problem. The only thing i have figured out so far is that the 2025 models, ford software has a firewall blocking the info.

"For the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E, you can use an OBDII scanner with compatible apps like CarScanner, Torque, or specialized tools like the OBDLink CX or vLinker MC+. However, be aware that the 2025 model has an encrypted CAN bus, which may restrict access to certain data or prevent some older scanners and apps from reading encrypted values. The best approach is to use a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi OBDII adapter with a compatible app designed to work with modern vehicles or Ford-specific interfaces"

I'm having the same issue. ABRP does pull directly from AA but I keep reading the dongle is better.
