Make sure you inspect the small pins on your car's charge port. One of mine was bent, which caused my problem.I also have the A2Z adapter. I have had issues getting it to be recognized and contacted the company and also have received a replacement which I have not tried yet.
In my case each time I was however able to get it to work after some fussing with it. Make sure the NACS is fully seated. You should hear a snap or thunk when it seats. If you do it is very clear that the latch button is fully locked in. If the latch button is indicating kinda locked it is not and the charger will not initiate. It may take some force to get it to seat.
I am headed out to try the replacement today. I’ll update with my experience.
