We're just getting started experimenting with working at the campsites. We both have remote jobs, but not sure we can work at the same time in such a small space...We spend about half the summer on the lake. Fishing, boating, kayaking. Hiking. I can work from anywhere I have a good signal, so converted garage in our toy hauler into office space. Had jet skis when we were younger, thinking about trying that again.
I had a taste of that dream at one time, but watched a few of my more senior and more qualified colleagues fail to be accepted after their second or third application and figured I just wasn't that driven to be a dog and pony show person. (Very few of the astronaut candidates in the corps ever get to space, most are just there for backup in case the select get sick or otherwise can't fly.)Sounds like fun! But figured you'd be more into flying to the moon. NASA is putting a team together for that, so I hear.
