I wonder if this is a good idea, the frunk button. I thought I read on here were someone used their frunk daily and ultimately the opener failed as a result. I took from that, use it as little as possible.

Did you pick up your new keyfob? Can you share an image of front and back, if you did?
That’s a weird VIN - starting with WFQT?

Here in North America we still do not have Ford issued MME fobs with frunk buttons, just one for the rear hatch (at least on my '23 model that's what I got). It is however well known that a Ford F-150 Lightning keyfob works just fine as a substitute, and it does have a frunk button. So that's what I use.
Confirming that my 2024 US-spec car did not have keys with frunk buttons. I kept my F150 Lightning key and programmed it into my 2024. ??

It's "WF0TK".....that's Ford's leading VIN characters for UK/EU etc. areas.

That new keyfob thing is for the UK/EU market where they were originally issued a dumbed down keyfob due to insurance regulators mandates. They were afraid the newer keyfobs would lead to cars being stolen more often using repeater/boosters. Apparently that's no longer the case.

We aren't expected to get new keyfobs here that I'm aware of.

Now have my key. opens the frunk with a double press & is a lot easier.
