Hey all, what’s up!

the mango has been charging at home basically since she was delivered (500~ miles). We were out and about andwanted to get some grub, and I noticed the center had these charging stations. I was thrilled when I learned it did not need yet another app! No handshake, no applepay button, nothing. Just pure p&c. It was slowish, 7.4 kW I think, but during dinner it refunded us enough electrons to have made the trip free. Really love using this stuff for however long it exists free of charge, haha. Sorry for the poor photography! Does anyone else have these Volta stations near them? Very cool stuff- still looking for the catch…

There is no catch. I use Volta stations quite a bit, as they're at all the malls and movie theaters around me. Their free electricity is paid for by the ads they sell on those screens; or at least that's their business model.

It's not Plug & Charge, it is open, free charging.

sorry for the misuse of the parlance - to me it seems very much like plug it in, and charge. What I meant is that there is no app I had to use. I’m new to this whole thing and am flustered by the insane number of apps I need to make this car happy ?

We have a bunch of them around here. They’re going in to lots of malls and other shopping areas.
