NACS Adapter delivery window delayed again

All they have to do is authorize them.

Which would require that A2Z (or insert name of another adapter manufacturer) to submit the adapter to Tesla for validation, redesign, re-validation, and subsequent authorization by Tesla. Ford doesn’t control the Supercharger network. Tesla does. Many moving parts here. ??

My June delivery which was July when I last checked a week ago, has now been moved to September.

More annoyed that Ford didn't send an email letting me know.

Same here...but Ford did send me an email saying it was delayed.

I'm betting on the 12th of never and that's a long, long time. Mine has been delayed as well. I did by an A2 unit and have used that successfully.

Around 120,000 I think. At least that was the largest order number I've seen posted so far.

Lots of folks are blaming Tesla. Apparently Ford had a deal for Tesla to produce them. Honestly, I don't know anything about that. Tesla didn't tell me they'd send me an adapter. Ford did. I'd be just as happy if Ford called up A2Z and ordered them from there.

I suspect that would violate the terms of the agreement. Ford is in a corner because of Musk. Think about the poor workers in Buffalo that got fired. A few have been hired back, but I don't know what they are working on.

About the typhoon pro…that puppy has some heft to it. If the NACS barrel end was a bit longer the device might be able to sub in for Thor’s Hammer…

I’ve seen substitute adapters on Amazon…….any reason they wouldn’t work just as well?
