Need help diagnosing two problems.

I know it’s Reddit and I have a dealership scheduled appointment (dealers here are really shitty, anyone in Washington know of a good one, please let me know).

Problem 1. OTA Recall update isn’t working. I did everything for preconditioning to get the update, even turned the damn lights off. It’ll go into “Preparing Update” then the screen blacks out. Any tips/tricks would be appreciated. To further clarify, I got two other updates in the past weeks and they went through fine.

Problem 2. Every time I turn off the car, I hear a clicking sound. Not from infotainment, not from speakers. From the car itself. Anyone experience this?

Item 1: Set a schedule for late evening and just wait for it. That should work.
Item 2: Car makes all sorts of noises while parked. What you are hearing is pretty normal.

Oh yeah. That isn't normal. I thought you were referring to the clicking sounds under the hood while parked.

Leave your phone in the house. Drive the car around the block and park and shut down. Does it still make that noise?

Yeah, it makes the noise still. I guess I’m taking this to the dealership unless someone else has anything between now and two weeks
