Yep.I'm too busy stretching my legs, finding the bathroom, and checking my phone to sit and watch anything in the car. Between two 2-hour drive legs, I gotta get out for a while.
By the time I check in on Plugshare, check email, X, txt msgs, Ring cameras at home... the car is done.
On our recent trip to Death Valley, we stopped at a charging station with a line so my partner went to pick up lunch while I waited in line. By the time she was back, the car had gained 40% charge from 45% to 85%, and I had just moved so the next people could plug in their vehicle. I didn't want to leave to join her to get lunch because lunch usually takes so long that the car gets well into 90% SoC. We didn't need 90%, and it would have been rude to take charger space while others were still waiting. The only time I ever stay at the car while it's charging anymore is when there are people in line behind me.
