New Behavior Observed - Remote Frunk Open Turns Off Remote Climate Start

So, I’ve just noticed the following behavior on my vehicle: I remote start the climate control (and it does come on). A couple of minutes later, I’ll open the frunk via FordPass. When I remote open the frunk, the climate control turns off. This can be annoying if you remote start climate control, expecting to get into a warm car, and the car is cold because climate control turned off ?

Yep. Same happens here too. I think it’s just legacy ford programming. When I had remote start on my ICE Fords they would turn off if the hood was opened. ? I hate it in the MME as here in the PNW I warm up my car from the grocery store and put it in the frunk.

Opening the hood cancels remote start. That's just an ICE carryover for safety. Likewise you cannot initiate remote start if the hood is open.

Also this is not a new behavior, it's always been like that on the Mach-E.

Lightnings do the same thing. It's something very annoying that @Ford Motor Company should look into.

The even more funny (annoying) part is that if the frunk or any door is open the remote start feature turns into a remote alarm feature instead by using the car horn as load as it can so you will be able to hear that a door is open even when you are far away and just trying to remote start
