Looks like there was a tread about this last year around April, doesn’t look like this has been an issue recently.
Today I was washing my car and when I got in to pull into the garage there was a big pop noise. At first I thought it was something hitting my car, because it was so loud, but then I realized it was the sound system. There was no radio, I couldn’t play Apple CarPlay. Turning the volume knob up and down just lead to a series of pops. It sounded like the speakers were blowing.
I attempted to reset the infotainment system (vol down and search arrow right) it rebooted but the same thing happened.
I got out, finished drying the car got back in to test again (maybe 15-20 minutes later) and everything was fine.
I’ve had some issues with the infotainment system here or there, but a reboot had always remedied the situation.
Just wondering if anyone else had this problem.
I have a 2022, GT. I was recently accepted into the EA program (just last week) currently on 4.2.2, since 3/22/23. I am glad it self corrected.
Anyone else with a similar issue? Anyone else have the problem in a recurring basis?
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my MachE, I’ve had little glitches here or there, but this one had me concerned.

Did you leave your doors propped open while you were cleaning? This can happen if the 12v gets low, which happens if the doors stay or you are running the stereo in accessory mode

I’ve had this once in over two years of dual Mach-E ownership. With the rarity of threads about it between here, Reddit, and Facebook groups. seems completely random. Also always seems to spontaneously resolve. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Yeah that's usually a symptom of the 12V battery getting too low, causing the amplifier to pop. If it happens again, you may want to look into 12V drains.

Thanks. That’s what I was thinking, but since it didn’t seem to come up much on the forum I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it.

There wasn’t anything on that I was aware of, I will have to pay attention to see if something was on that I want aware of.
thanks.

I have had it happen once (but I've only had the car for shy of two months).

I drove the car 40 minutes prior to that event so it shouldn't be due to a drained LVB, but who knows. This car has so many quirks.
