Looks like there was a tread about this last year around April, doesn’t look like this has been an issue recently.
Today I was washing my car and when I got in to pull into the garage there was a big pop noise. At first I thought it was something hitting my car, because it was so loud, but then I realized it was the sound system. There was no radio, I couldn’t play Apple CarPlay. Turning the volume knob up and down just lead to a series of pops. It sounded like the speakers were blowing.
I attempted to reset the infotainment system (vol down and search arrow right) it rebooted but the same thing happened.
I got out, finished drying the car got back in to test again (maybe 15-20 minutes later) and everything was fine.
I’ve had some issues with the infotainment system here or there, but a reboot had always remedied the situation.
Just wondering if anyone else had this problem.
I have a 2022, GT. I was recently accepted into the EA program (just last week) currently on 4.2.2, since 3/22/23. I am glad it self corrected.
Anyone else with a similar issue? Anyone else have the problem in a recurring basis?
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my MachE, I’ve had little glitches here or there, but this one had me concerned.
