New phone.. thoughts on best way to add to car

I just got a new phone. What is your thoughts on the best way to add to my car? Should I start out deleting the old phone from the car itself?

Depends. If it is an iPhone, all you need to do is perform a secure, encrypted backup of your old phone, then restore that backup to your new phone. Your new phone becomes your old phone and will “just work” with all previous network connections.

Download the Fordpass app on the new phone and just add it from the phone. I have 2 phones, an iphone and an android. I added the iphone at first when I first bought the car. Then added the 2nd phone (android) through the fordpass app without any issues.
