Option to wireless charging - my modification solution

This little charger right here plugged in at home in the wall. This thing will take it from 50% to 100 and like 20 minutes. Take it out put it in the USB port in the car. It just sits at the same percent the whole time you’re driving, so gotta figure out a way to make as much power coming out of the socket on the wall, but I guess you need some type of inverter from the cigarette lighter port because it didn’t make any difference. Plugging in adapter and plugging the USB into that either.
You can barely pull that off the back of the phone and it sits perfectly in the little tray

It is USB-C on the other end? I find that port much more powerful than the USB-A port.

As I said before, the wraps charger worked fine. The camera hung below and the phone stuck to it, but driving around an hour my phone charged like 3%, which is ridiculously slow.

So here’s what it looks like from the backseat. It’s not a bad set up. That little brown thing is just something I put their temporary lead to hold the table in place. And it’s nice and cool. That’s really a good holder. This thing is something I had in an old CX seven.
And because my USB drive, you can flip it around to a C or an a I’ve actually got my music and so I’ve got my phone charging so it’s working. I went ahead and put the wireless back in the car just in case something ever changes or I decide to get an iPhone 8 Plus again.

Since you already removed the OEM charging model, your might want to see if you can get this to work (it is thin and it fits in the existing mat area nicely)

We bought this and it worked great. Unfortunately, it only lasted 2 months. Now it won't charge. It quit working.

I’m basically putting up with this iPhone 14 Pro Max I’m gonna be going to the 16 in September so I’m hoping a lot of stuff will be resolved. I used to be an android and I just found the iPhone was more friendlier to use for me. I have nothing against the android other than I can’t send you a video if you have one that’s still an issue which is ridiculous.

iOS 18 fixes that issue by finally adding RCS implementation into Messages. This allows for fully featured messaging between iOS and Android. One less reason to stay with Apple I guess, but all my stuff is Apple and I like the integration between all the devices.

This might be something that might actually work. Looks like it could go right over top of your regular case.?

I went with this solution, kind of matches the theme of the car, with the electronics look, it does charge really well wirelessly, the only reason there’s a plug is that plugs for the wireless. You don’t have to plug it into the phone, it opens up closes automatically, Nice little charger. For phones that cannot wireless charge it does have these little plugs that go in the bottom of the phone that contacts the little magnet on the holder to sort of make it wireless. And for some reason, the vent on these mustangs are deeper so the little vent mount came up little short. One more edit, it does match the unbridled theme color?
