Flaky wireless phone charging?

Ford blames the iPhone 12 series ? This drives me crazy

They are not totally wrong when it comes to the iPhone12 My wife has one and it wouldnt charge on a Volvo XC-60 wireless charger Volvo had to release an update to the charger for it to work. In my Mustang I have the iPhone 13 pro and it works great, but with wife's iPhone 12 Pro its flaky. Seems Apple fixed the problem in the iPhone 13. I heard others with the iPhone 12 are having same issues but others with the iPhone 13 are not.

Looks like there is (or was?) indeed something about the 12 and QI chargers. I gave up using my pad long ago. Maybe if I get a 14!
