I have a couple small indentations on the rear lip of the car. I'm thinking about building them up with an epoxy putty, shaping it, then touch-up/wet sand/buff.

I've worked with "JB Weld Steel Stick" putty before on metal (non-automotive) applications and it works perfectly for bonding to metal. I don't have the same expectations for using it with plastic.

From what I've seen, various epoxies don't adhere to various types of plastic - so I'm wondering if anyone knows what type of plastic the "rear lip" is made out of...? I'm considering trying the "JB Weld PlasticWeld" product, which specifically lists "Automotive Trim and Bumpers" as an application, but also mentions that it doesn't adhere to "polyethylene, polypropylene or some other plastics" so before I go making things worse, I wanted to see if anyone knows what plastic these are made of?

It's a GTPE, if it makes any difference.

Thanks!

I just saw a 23 Premium on-line that as Body Colored Wheel Flares (like the GT). Is this something new?
