I'm reading all these 12v battery tips and tricks. Never we ever I had to do all this shenanigans in our Tesla. Am I missing something ?
That is because the Tesla does better job of managing the state of charge of the low voltage battery and gives warnings if it sees problems with low voltage. If your Tesla was made after November, 2021, it does not have a 12 volt battery since Tesla went to a 16v lithium ion battery instead of the 12v lead acid battery starting in November, 2021.

FYI, the 16 volt battery in the Tesla looks like this:

I used to own a 2018 Model 3 and had similar battery problems to those being discussed here. Once we were locked out (required tow to service center and battery replacement) and once we got low battery warnings and had the battery proactively replaced. I believe there were numerous updates (software and hardware) over the years by Tesla to help prevent these problems.

I don’t know the process to jump or replace a 12v battery in other EVs but I think some of the paranoia is that there have been software issues in the past like with PAAK where anytime your phone got even relatively close to your vehicle the car would wake up and turn the lights on and if that’s happening multiple times a day it could be cause for some concern over time however I think software relating to some of that or battery management may have been updated. Also it is kind of a pain if the 12v were to die to get into the vehicle or at least it can be. There is no manual key so you’re forced to use a jumper box on the 2 cords in the front bumper just to get access to the frunk to then get to the battery. Oh btw some people remove the entire frunk when changing their battery and I think you need to unscrew the strut tower brace on one side to be able to pull out the battery. So ford could have made the entire process much easier for the average person. That may be why it’s on the front of some people’s minds and want to make sure they don’t get stranded and stuck with a construction project to replace the battery lol. You could of course have it towed to a dealer but remember there’s only 2 tow points on the Mach e and theyre in the front so with an inexperienced tow driver and depending on how you’re parked when your battery dies will have fun with that too. I’ve seen pictures of extreme damage on Mach e’s because a tow driver didn’t know how to put the vehicle on a truck correctly. Just what I’ve gathered over months of reading about these issues.
