Parking Brake Fault?

Anyone got Parking Brake Fault Service Now warning?
I had it parked in a driveway, came out after it rained and was greeted by this message and a eerily pleasant warning chime.

There was no friction, the car moved normally. I had to drive it home, guess I will try to schedule something tomorrow.
I've had the car two days so not ecstatic right now.

Also killed a raccoon on the way home at about 50 mph.
EVs suck when you hit something. You can hear every crunch

OK... it is a short in the parking brake button. It's "temporarily fixed" as they order a new switch that should be here Wednesday. (Two days from now)

That's two days I've wasted at the dealer out of the five I will have owned it.

Glad they found the issue. That switch looks like it might be common to several models so hopefully it arrives soon.

Yea I am hoping the temp fix was put an identical but not approved switch in and they will switch it out. I am fearful there is a temporary wire or something jumping it down there like I would have "fixed" my 1968 Camaro when I was a kid.
