Hi all,

Last night when I pulled into my driveway I got the parking break fault warning on my 23 mme. Is there anything I should be doing other than contacting the dealer for repair? I see there is a csp for 21 and 22 but didn't see anything for later models? I'm at 73k kms and have experienced a lot of issues after going over 60k.

You’ll need to contact the dealer. It could be the wiring, it could be the parking brake actuator. I had this happen last month, and it was both. Couple days to fix and get parts. You can physically inspect the wiring but you’ll need diagnostics to determine if the actuator is faulty.

Hi all,

I had the same issue when I was on the road with my 2023 MME at 70K miles. I had to keep driving to get to my destination and fried my rear brakes costing my $600. All because of a $19 switch that was corroded.
Last week at 75K miles my charge system had a failure and required a $3000 repair, luckily covered under warranty.
Of course at 50K miles the front drive system craped out and took almost 4 weeks to repair due to backordered parts. Ford never reimbused me for the car rental. Bottom line is Ford Motor comapny is not what it used to be. Never buy a Ford!
