So we decided to leave on a last minute road trip from Chicagoland to Finger lakes area, NY Upstate. 650 miles, CA RTE 1, 2 adults; 2 kids and a trunk and frunk full of luggage and then some more.
Left with 85% SOC. First stop EA West Unity OH. After 200 miles. 350 kW plug: 40 kW in 23 minute. Coffee and bathroom break.
Second stop EA Mentor OH. After 200 miles and a nights rest. 44 kW, 26 mins. Lunch break.
Third stop Cheektowaga, NY. After 172 miles. 62 kW in 42 mins. Picking up supplies at Walmart while charging. Both connectors on initial charger did not work so pulled next one over.
Arrived at 48% SOC
All 3 times Plug and Play worked like a charm. Deducted straight out of initial 500 kW balance. No hiccups.
Total driving including detours and errors- 680 miles using 172 kW. So average is 4 miles/kW. Range was consistently 350 miles. But I drive the speed limit.
