This is just an FYI/RESOLVED post because of an issue I've had for more than a year and finally resolved.
Sometimes I would get 20, 30, or 40 notifications in a row and they would not stop. It was so annoying.
It's the same notification I get when I get a text message, but there weren't any new text messages.
Well finally I looked up how to disable alerts for text messages because I like to nap in my car, and
when I enable DND on my phone, I still hear them in the car because it connects to the Mach E via
bluetooth. The DND doesn't transfer over bluetooth.
I noticed that I could also disable the notifications FOR MY EMAIL!!! That's what was blasting me with
the extra alerts. Disabled that one as well. No more trouble....And I can nap in peace.
