Phone as a Key Software Update

I called the dealership on if I needed to bring the car in for the PAAK software update and they said it was a Sync update and I could do it from the car. Can someone tell me how to do this? Thanks

Find another dealer. The PAAK Fsa is done by the dealers. It will at some point be available as an OTA, but not now.

Oh, boy. So I did take it in on Monday, they said they did the update; however, it is still showing up on my Ford Pass App as outstanding. So I called another dealer this morning, their the ones that said I could do it. Argh....

Dealerships are just as clueless as the public. You'll get better information here than dealerships.

If they did the update you should be fine. It just hasn't fully registerd in their system that it is complete.

Or the dealer didn't actually apply it.

Just finished receiving the software update at Homer Skelton Ford in Millington, TN. While there, I got them to program a second FOB as a backup. No charge for the visit. Great customer service by an outstanding dealership.
