I continue to get this error where the car wouldn't start and keeps asking me to verify that the charging cable has been disconnected.
Even when the car is parked, not-plugged in and charge port door closed, the app tells me the car is "plugged in not charging"
Anyone have similar issues?
Would love to have some idea of what to ask for before I head to the dealer

Thanks!

1. What do you mean by won’t start?
Are you in the car pushing the start button?
Are you trying to remote start with the app?
Are you using a preset departure time?
2. If you are in the car, did you unplug the car before unplugging the EVSE from the wall? (I don’t know that this would cause your fault but I know we’re supposed to unplug from the car first.

Did you try to plug in and wiggle the plug around and then remove. Something stuck.

How old and how many miles?

So it is not allowing you to drive the vehicle? Or is this intermittent?

I get a notification on the screen where I can attest that the car is not plugged in after which I can drive it. Proceed repeats every time I get in the car again

Tried that without any benefit. Nothing seems stuck in the slot either
60 miles. Has been happening since I picked up the car.

Take a photo of the driver's screen messages and include the charge port area (showing the door is not opened and not plugged in). Make sure you include the icons at the bottom of the screen below the message box.

Are you also getting the charge door is open message when it is in fact closed? If so, document that too.

Then take it in for repairs. There appears to be a fault in your charge connector assembly or perhaps the module.

Also, does the fault occur only at a certain location?

Thanks for the suggestions. Very helpful!

It turns on the orange light which indicates Charge fault. I think the car thinks something is connected when its not. It happens everytime the car is started regardless of recent charging or not.

In addition, I am also getting a powertrain malfunction/reduced power error. not sure if the two are connected.

Will keep you posted. Taking it in next week

If it is caused by the known radio interference issue then the two messages are related.

That is the reason for the question about location

I'm hoping the TSB Issued last week with a software update fixes some of the problems people are having.
