My previous 964 and current VW camper were probably greener than the Mach E. Although they use petrol for propulsion, they both lasted over 50 years and I doubt the same will be true of this. They were also built and delivered from a single factory on the same continent and didn't have to travel from Mexico for me to drive.

Totally get your point though, hence me getting a Mach E.
Lifted a bugs air cooler out of its back end to rebuild it by myself. Was my university commuter not by choice but by wallet. I do not think kinda burn it is the answer? Not sure it matters.

It’s not like the MME can make the claim “no dinosaurs were harmed in the making of this vehicle.” ?
Of course not and even over its life time if your charge is via coal/gas it will not be. I am not a power distributer and can not help too much solving that.

Is the 911 not a dinosaur juice vehicle? For me it is clearly in a different league as it is a climate changing POS. That is a personal opinion and not the consensus. Fire away boys ;) this MME matches my old v8's and has a definite passing presences on the highway. That is all I need. A truck is now our dump truck which is less than a mile away. I fill up a jerry can for it once and awhile and pull in to do that with the MME. Have a large tote with a lid so it does not stink like petrol does. I have the 12V charger/conditioner plugged in on the truck more than the css on the mme ?.
EV's today are moderately better for the environment over their lifespan than an ICE. It's probably going to be several more decades and many advances in renewable power grid generation before the gap widens. Production of Li-ion batteries without burning fossil fuels, and being able to recycle them also needs to be achieved before they can truly be considered in a "different league" regarding climate.

Clean power here but agree the way some countries generate their power and operate their factories including ours has to be changed. I am not one of them that makes those big decisions. As noted driving an ev is a personal choice and in the big picture one means nothing. If we group it may help? Shouldn't hurt? May not matter?

Not putting out fumes and pollutants (harmful for health) counts for a win.
