When driving in 1-pedal mode, if I take it out of 1-pedal mode my speed picks up slightly. The opposite happens when putting it back into the 1-pedal mode, it loses a few miles/hr. It almost seems as if the 1-pedal mode produces a slight drag on the car's performance. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it normal, do I have a problem, or is this just my imagination?

Thanks, that makes sense. I feared that I might have some drag of the regen. brakes while foot on the accelerator.

It is normal. Think of it this way: in one pedal, all the way down is max acceleration and all the way off the pedal is some noticeable amount of braking, and coasting is somewhere in between. With one pedal off, all the way down is still max acceleration, but all the way off the pedal is now coasting. So if you switch from one pedal off to one pedal on and want to stay at the same speed, you will have to depress the accelerator some.

Thanks, that explains it well.
