Potential Mach E owner

Hi folks,

I'm planning to purchase Mark E GT this March.
I didn't preorder online so I hope I can get one by that time
Originally I was planning to buy the Ford F150 Lighting but I won't get it until 2023. and the new price are much higher than what I expected.
I live in Long Island NY,
Here is my plan so far:
Mark E GT
Will use X-Plan and ford option.
If you guys have any suggestion, please let me know.
I need all the help I can get.

You'll likely not have a Mach-E by March 2022 even if you ordered today, and if you buy one off the lot, you'll likely pay a markup, even if you can find one in stock.

As far as Long Island dealerships go, though, let me make a strong recommendation for John Berto at Hempstead Ford in Garden City. I've been dealing with John for years, including with my Mach-E GT (ordered 10/8/21; scheduled to be built this week!), and he's been straightforward and knowledgeable about X-Plan and Ford Options along with everything else. They may be in "inventory," but it doesn't mean they're saleable; often, those are customer-ordered cars awaiting pickup. If you are willing to pay a dealer markup, you may have some luck, especially if you keep checking (and communicating with) multiple dealers. {Jonathan}

I want to thank you for the recommendation. I was having all sorts of issues with a dealer I have used in the past and who is closer to my home, so I was about to give up. I won't go into the gory details as dealer horror stories are discussed ad nauseum on this forum and elsewhere, but John at Hempstead Ford got me back on track. Now the actual hard part...waiting.
