My 2022 Mach E Premium AWD ER with 14,570 miles was in a minor ($4,500 to repair, of which $1,000 was to remove/install new PPF film) accident about 2 months ago. I was planning to sell it but there were USPS and DMV issues that greatly delayed the arrival of the title for a replacement vehicle.

Right after the accident and before Carfax updated, I request trade-in values from Carvana, CarMax, etc. and they were generally in the $30-$32K range through mid-June.

The damage has been since fixed, but now I am consistently getting offers of $25-26K, with some outliers lower, but nothing higher.

Has anyone traded in or sold a similar Mach E (either dealer or private party) recently? If so, what are you seeing for values? If so, did it have an accident history?

Has anyone successfully received a diminished value payout to account for this? Any recommended services to use?

My 2021 premium awd Ext 19,000 miles was totaled by a Ford service department that dropped it of a lift. I was able to get $32,000 at the end of June. I would say that was an exception not the rule, I was seeing 25k to 28k for similar used premiums. With the new Mach Es having such a large discount and the EV manufacturers reaching for a under 30k new car, the longer you wait the less you will get and the price is falling fast.

I have Mme. my 21 premium has 105,000 miles. The dealer who I have bought from exclusively since 2006 and I have an awesome relationship with told me it was worth $20-15000. I will keep it until it dies. Fund great. Zero issues.

Tomorrow I will be trading my 2022 Mach E Premium Extended Range RWD. I waited for 370 days for that vehicle. Then over 2 years later have not had any satisfaction from Ford to give us a 12V battery gauge so we know the SOC. I have asked them repeatedly and many others have also inquired to no avail. I am done. After keeping records all this time to try and get Ford to replace my 12 V as long as the dealer says it is within specs that is the final answer. Since I have only 5,000 miles on the car in 26 months of ownership and cannot keep the 12V up to snuff I am done. My husband considers the car unreliable and I am no longer going to live in fear of it leaving me high and dry. I have spent more time on the phone with Ford than I have driving the car. I am just a senior who likes cars but this has been way too much bother to even mess with. It seems to me that if you are not a car guy that likes to dink and hook up trickle chargers or some other method to keep the 12 V above 60% then don't own an EV. Ford monitors this site and yet they do not see how important this is for us to have someplace we can see the 12 V SOC Well, I could see it from Feb 24 til a few days ago on the Ford website.. When they changed that I made up my mind I was no longer going to be bothered by this vehicle.
I applaud all of you that can make this work. I will be off this forum after tomorrow and sorry for the lousy experience I have had with this vehicle. I loved it but sometimes things are too much of a struggle. I consider myself lucky to get a trade in value of $30,000 but the car is truly like brand new. Good Bye ice Blue Silver Metallic Mach E. I hope you find someone to care for you.

That seems pretty fair (price wise) but not having to replace your car would be even nicer.
What did you replace the '21 with?

Dealers always give a lower price than private sale. Insurance claim always knock down the price. I would say up to date offers reflex that.

Have you had a 12v battery failure?

Diminished value claims only work in a not at fault accident and comes from the at fault person's insurance. Was this an at fault accident (your fault)? Even if not at fault, it's probably too late. If your car is fixed already you have probably accepted the final settlement when they paid for the repairs and you accepted the car back.

Unless you are in GA, where diminished value is issued regardless of fault.

Again, in GA diminished value is a separate claim from the repairs. Can't speak for all other states.

Just to wrap this up I sold my Mach E today for $27,500.

I also have a diminished value claim in arbitration and should have the final number in a week or 2.
