Anyone else tried modifying a profile recently and ended up with the car deleting it? Yesterday I found that creating the basic profile worked fine but when I tried to add a phone to the profile it would try to save, but fail and then display a failure message. The whole profile had gone too.

Are you adding the phone during the profile set up or adding the phone via the phone settings once the profile has been set up, if that makes any sense!!!

I recall having issues myself with initial profile creation

Yes it makes sense and I've tried both ways! I started from a factory reset of the car. Wierd eh?

Nobody else is allowed to drive ‘Stangy, partly because the wheels don’t stop turning long enough for anybody else to be able to get behind the wheel?

Hope you get yours resolved, though?

I have had the exact same issue. It throws up an error then when you go back in the entire profile is deleted. I can't find a way to change the profile pic to one of your phone anymore either.

The phone option doesn't do what you probably think, unfortunately.
It's for phone as a key which is blocked in UK.
Later sync versions have removed this option for us.
(My Sync version was old and had this bug, I've just had modules changed at dealership and new sync version installed, phone option no longer there in profile setup)

Now I remember, the above is spot on. When you create profiles you cannot add a phone to a profile, it bombs out every time. You just need to create profiles without assigning/adding a phone. I assume something to do with PAAK not being enabled for uk owners
