Public Charging 1st time experience

I got my Mach E back in Oct 2023. Been charging exclusively at home since I have solar. Today, I took the kiddo to the movie theater and I remember they had some type of charging station there, so I figured, let's try it. It was a Volta charging station that does 7.68kW. I plugged in, Mach E started to charge immediately and I thought, cool. After the movie, 25% increase in charge in the battery all for free. Great experience.

Yes, that is a nice perk from Volta. I never seem to be in a place long enough to use them effectively. But in that instance, you did well. Glad it was seamless.

Here in NJ I have used Volta free charging at one of our malls and at our county zoo.....sometimes hard to get a spot.......and here in NJ Volta has become "Shell Recharge"......

They are good. Used them 2-3 times. Most of the time they are utilized by other drivers. So you can’t rely on them at all.
