I have unsuccessfully tried to use Tesla at 5 different superchargers...in different states. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Even went to a Ford dealership to confirm that the software has been updated. Do I need to start the charge from my app?

I had a similar issue. I used my adapter for the first time a few days ago, but would not work. Plug & Charge was enabled. My charge ring was solid blue, and then I received a charge fault message. I had to enable the charge in the Tesla app.

Otherwise, it worked great and I was getting 116kw.

To ask the obvious, do you have plug&charge enabled with a payment method? Have you used it at other chargers? Did you try starting the charge from the FordPass app? I just looked at mine and there’s the option to use P&C or activate manually.

Yes, I have Plug&Charge enabled and yes, charging works with other chargers. I did receive the message concerning Tesla charger that there was a charging fault. At that time I did not have the Tesla app, though.
