My Tesla adapter was delivered last week so I wanted to try it out before I might need to use it. Nearest charger is at a Wawa about 5 miles away - 8 chargers. Got there and 4 Teslas were charging. Pulled into a space so I could access the charger but even though my tires hit the parking berm the cord was too short to reach. The pedestals were on a narrow median so I parallel parked on the other site and was able to plug in. i was at 65% when I started and it started charging at 95+ kw. Let it go for 8 minutes and received 13kwh. Not super fast but plug&charge worked perfectly. Don’t know if I will use it much - almost all my charging is done at home - but it’s nice to have more options.

Same here. I tried my new adapter and worked perfect. No issues with one exception. The Tesla power cord barely and I mean barely makes it to the GT charging port. I had to pull within 4" of the pedestal.

Speed of charging has to do with being at 65% SOC.

Way to be creative on the parking. I've done the same.

I guess it is easier over here in Europe as we all have CCS (including Tesla). I charge my car from time to time at Tesla as they have a gigantic charging location at a shopping mall. Not because I need to charge, but because there is always a (or twelve) spot free there and I'm too lazy to look for a sport where no other idiot will jam his door into my car. :) The grim faces of Tesla drivers is worth the charging cost too.

It was, eh. I didn't want to be a Keener like the Tesla fanboys, so I showed them how I wasn't a hoser by being creative. A local Mountie drove by and smiled, as I was in a parking lot and not impacting traffic. Hit the local Timmies for a bathroom break.

Tesla has been pulling up / removing the parking berms on many of our Supercharges.

My trick to get closer and not take up 2 spaces:
disabled / handicap spaces.

Love Tesla just amazing how much faster it's been.

Been waiting for my charger since I ordered first couple of days available. They say June delivery but I've been hearing about delays. No update on my order status online

April and May orders slipped to June. No originally June orders have yet shipped. My guess is they will slip to July.

I live near a lessor know magic dock so I’ve yet to use the adapter. But handy for those just in case

:( I have unsuccessfully tried to use Tesla at 5 different superchargers...in different states. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Even went to a Ford dealership to confirm that the software has been updated. Do I need to start the charge from my app?

To ask the obvious, do you have plug&charge enabled with a payment method? Have you used it at other chargers? Did you try starting the charge from the FordPass app? I just looked at mine and there’s the option to use P&C or activate manually.

Along with what the other person said….can also activate from the Tesla app.
