Putting MME on jack stands

I'm getting ready to take my wheels in to have them powder coated & while they're off the car I want to paint my calipers.

Does anyone know how to properly/safely put the MME up on blocks?

I have four jack stands and hydrolic jack, but the points to lift on the frame are limited.

Set the 4 jack stands at the 4 jack points. There is just enough room at those spots to both lift the car and get a jack stand in there, then remove the jack.

For the front, I put the jack on the back half of the lift point which leaves room for the jack stand in front of the jack.

From that angle it looks like you were trying to find the balance point of the car. ?

The red stands are backups and are not touching the car. I put them there after pulling out the jack.

I am really uncomfortable with going under a car, and having a backup stand makes me feel a lot better.

There’s good threads about this questions. I use the space close to the lift points, the way I can fit jack stand and floor jack at the same time together. The frame looks solid through all side. But be careful don’t use battery frame.

Or get some JackPoint Jack stands. ?? They are expensive and always backordered, but they are slick as heck. One of these days I’ll get two pairs. ??

OK...overkill but my GTPE has been on them twice now ?

I used the harbor freight jack cross beam and lifted one whole side at a time. It gets close enough to the jack points. I cut 2x4 pieces to make sure I was off the battery rails.

(BTW...my garage looks like a disaster compared to the rest of you guys )
