For months I’ve been trying to track down a rattle that I thought was coming from the dash. Then I thought it might’ve been the screen assembly against the dash.

However I now realize that the rattle appears to be coming from inside the screen assembly itself. When I apply pressure with my hand to the back of the screen (from the top), the rattle stops.

Has anyone experienced the same rattle?

Has anyone experienced the same rattle? I am certainly not inclined to take apart the screen assembly as a mistake could be a disaster.
Hi Jeff! If you’d like further assistance regarding the rattle concern, feel free to send us a private message with your VIN and local Ford dealer. Thank you!

Hi Jeff: We had a dashboard/screen rattle in our 2023 MME that we purchased new in March. Our Ford dealer replaced the entire front dash assembly in July and this fixed the issue.

YES! I have this same issue and it’s been driving me crazy. I’ve noticed it is more prominent when the car is cold and sitting in my garage. Once it’s been parked where the sun warms the dash, it is not as bad and sometimes actually stops completely.

I have this same exact issue in my '23 GT. It only happens when the temperature outside is above 70 or so. Anyway, just wondering if you guys were able to get this resolved?

In my case, I was able to track down the issue to the mounting bolts that hold the screen assembly to the vehicle. If you pry open the trim panel directly underneath the screen (it’s the one with one of the ambient light attached to it so be careful not to yank the panel away), there are two bolts hidden up there. Taking a bit of torque off them resolved the issue for a little while. It seems to have returned so I’m going to try backing it off just a little bit more.

🙏 Thanks @Jeff-NoVA. I need to decide if it's worth the hassle of checking with the dealer for possible warranty coverage, or if I should just have a go at those bolts myself. The rattle is super annoying, took me quite a while to pinpoint it.
