ONE PEDAL DRIVE LIMITATIONS One pedal drive is unavailable when any of the following occur: • Shifting into an incorrect transmission position, such as park (P) when driving. • Using active park assist. • Using cruise control.
3rd bullet is somewhat false. 1P works in cruise control when you hit the pause button (not necessary to shut it off) . There is a slight delay vs no cruise, but technically it works.
Read the manual. Yes, indeed.
Then try it.
The manual does not solve FordPass or Paak problems. Unfortunately, that is an ongoing battle for some us. Others seem to have no problems. The manual cannot read or convince the software to work.
We morons just assumed FordPass/Paak would work. And I would wager that there might be an MME owner or two who has to work for a living and really does not have the time to spend at war.
Granted, this is the land of the automobile, but it is not all there is to life. Maybe wet a line, yell FORE!, a dinner date, time with kids, friends, relatives(Honey, LOOK OUT, they're here).
Some of us have found the Forum to be useful, informative and enjoyable. We will continue to be amused by the forum even now that we have have our MMEs and have been (at least temporarily) released.
Say thank you to the admirers and if you have time, share your enthusiasm.
