Rear Bumper Protection

My MME Premium LR was ordered with the "Interior Protection Package", which according to the MME site includes a "Cargo Area Protector". Does anyone know whether or not this protects the top of the rear bumper, similar to this Ford optional accessory https://accessories.ford.com/mat-12834.html#2021/Mustang Mach-E or if I need this bumper protector https://accessories.ford.com/cover-13183.html#2021/Mustang Mach-E

If neither are included and anyone has a better idea as to how best to protect the top of the bumper from marks made by rolling suitcases over it, etc., I'd appreciate your advice. Thank you.

Nope, the Interior Protection Package is just the rubber floor liners and the cargo area protector packaged together and you save $$. It doesn't include the bumper protector. If you're getting Xpel or another PPF installed just have them add that. I did on my C30.

It’s just for the inside. I don’t have my Mach-E yet but have been eyeing something like this from Amazon to protect the bumper when needed:

To be fair ford sells a custom sized piece of PPF for the painted top of the bumper near the cargo bay. It's like $75 or something.

Or get a detailer to install a custom piece.

I haven't used it yet since I was told to wait 2 days before I drive my car (for the PPF to finish drying) and it's raining out. But it looks and feels pretty good.

I bought the second item you list. It is a thin, clear, appliqué. I have not installed it yet because it is still too cold in Wisconsin to do the install. It looks pretty basic but should protect the painted area from the scratches likely to happen as you drag things in and out of the back.
