In the US, the 8-year / 100,000 mile warranty covers the high-voltage components including battery, motor(s), HVBJV, etc. The warranty in other countries may vary.

How do you know that?

I just had my mach e here in portugal problem on rear motor, oil bomb.
they say maybe have to change the whole motor but I’m already more than 100.000km and they say no warranty of the car, only battery .

Check your warranty. The 8-year/ 160,000 km warranty in the EU generally covers the HVB and electric motors. There are some differences from country to country, though.

In my experience any 12V AGM battery is fine in 3 years. Happened twice e in my mini Cooper. I don’t bother testing anymore. 3 years your done. Heck even at the dealer it’s only 3.5 bags of groceries.

Just found this thread. My 2023 AWD had the rear motor start to go out at 41K miles while we were out of town. Ford is paying for it and the rental car that we used to get the 200+ miles home which is nice, but 6 days later we're still waiting on a "one time use bolt" to get the darn thing fixed and back.
