Removing wrap from car

I bought my 2023 moch E used and the previous owner had wrapped the side view mirrors as well as the fin in the back, which look horrible because the sun has done a number on the wrap. I was wondering if.it easy to remove myself or if iit would beexpensive to have professionally done?

Heat gun to soften it and peel it off

Vinyl is easily peeled with a heat gun, hair dryer, or just after sitting in the sun on a hot day. I recommend Rapid Remover to remove any leftover adhesive It appears it was wrapped with cheap textured vinyl and not properly cared for, so I would expect adhesive residue. If the wrap breaks instead of peeling, I would recommend some more heat and a plastic razorblade scraper.

I had the installer remove the xpel film off my bumper after a kid scratched it with his bicycle. He charged $100, but said that $25 is for removing the film and $75 for the adhesive and clean up. He warned me that if I had any paint chips touched up, there is a high likelihood that the touch up paint will lift right off. In my case, I had none done (car wrapped immediately after taking delivery) and the film came right off and car looked brand new.
