Planning for the Mach-E is a big deal. I'm ready for EV, excited even, and saying this with a classic car in my garage. It's the right thing to do for our kids and ever-improving stewardship of the planet.

I concur that the reveal seems out if front of Ford's preparedness. I am not yet turned off, but Ford has a lot of reaching out and ground to cover BEFORE June.

Ford could earn big brownie points by putting together tutorial videos about their home chargers, installation requirements, costs, programming it for cheapest overnight charging, programs with regional energy companies, Powerwall equivalents, etc.

I have toddler twins and a family. The last thing I need is to bring home a car and not be knowledgeable and fully up to speed on home and public charging!

I read an article about a month ago that had a survey that stated about 90% of Tesla owners had no idea everything that their car could do.

Don't sweat the home and public charging. Is not a big deal. I have owned both a 2018 Chevy Bolt and a 2019 Leaf Plus. My self installed 32 amp juice box in my garage charges both with no problem. Public charging is no more complicated than pumping gas.

Totally agree. It's what I've been thinking and "trying" to convey in my own remarks. Very well said.

Not to give them (those in the 90%) excuses for not demanding more information but it's not like they had many options to pick from. TESLA: Either buy our EV semi-blind or have fun with one of the electric roller skates available out there (at the time) or stay with an ICE.

The EV landscape is much different now. There's more choices (aka competition) so people can and should be more demanding of having access to the information, the product, the services, etc. for that purchase to take place, Otherwise, see ya!
