Sorry for the delay in response I was occupied with my day job obligations. As I have mentioned before there was insufficient notice. A half sentence window sticker line item "Active Park Assist Prep kit" is insufficient. It does not describe in itself that the Active park functionality will no longer work at least in the short term and possibly never. That is why there is an additional waiver acknowledgement that spells this out, a form I received four months after delivery. I do agree there is liability with the dealer as well as liability with Ford. There was confusion as if this was an either or situation. It is not. There is joint liability. We are in agreement that the dealer has liability. regarding Ford's liability you have to wonder why Ford claims they are offering a delayed solution and then not providing any details on when or how that solution will be implemented and possibly as some of you suggested never as it was apparently deleted in the 2023 model. One has to wonder if Ford was going to delete the option why use the vague description in the line item "Active Park Assist Kit' why not just say '"Removal of Active Park Assist".

Some of you are claiming that the park feature is not worth a claim as it does not work well it all. The subjective value of this feature is not relevant. What is relevant I was contractually promised this feature and I did not receive it. It is not up to Ford alone to say what this removal is worth in an obfuscated unclear fashion. It is a joint decision between the parties. Some of you feel a 325 credit is a valid compensation. I do not.

There is also a misconception that I am angry. I am not. I just hold people and organizations accountable. I expect that Ford and the dealership will resolve this to my satisfaction.

There has been other examples of Ford doing this such as removing the kick gate feature without clear communication. This is a problem.

It is never a good idea to take away capabilities. It is worse to obfuscate the actual removal and do it in an illusory manner.

I have held the dealer responsible in the past. In fact I ordered the GT PE edition what I received was just the GT non- PE edition. I could have sued and won. I did not get angry. Instead I negotiated. Through negotiation with the dealer they only charged me for the GT price and paid for PE wheels for free. The dealer was honest about their mistake and made things right.
