Ripped Weather Stripping / Rubber Piece

Noticed a piece of weather stripping or rubber hanging into my window tonight
Got home and saw this rubber piece ripped on the drivers side - not sure if it is that big of a deal
Passenger side intact
Car only has 2k miles on it and is less than a month old…
Any idea its purpose?
Worth going back to dealer???

It's a product defect or installation problem. It's a new car. It's a Ford Motor problem. It's under warranty. Take it back to the dealer.
