I have noticed lately that my mme with the one pedal mode activated, will not hold on even the slightest incline and begins to roll backwards if the brake is not engaged. Has any one else had this experience, as it did not used to do this previously? Any fix?

My guess you need to push the selector button on door set for you. Other wise it may not be in one pedal.

Hey, Scubauke! I would like to like to into this Brake concern you’re experiencing with your Mach-E. Could you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer?

For clarity, the auto hold is on and I have one pedal engaged. It only rolls backwards on an uphill incline, even a very mild almost imperceptible incline at a stop signal necessitating use of the brake. It does not role downhill on a similar downhill incline. This is new as it never used to do this. I will pm the ford contact above.

Job 1, Job 2 or 2022? GT or regular? If Job 1, what PowerUp are you on?

This may have been the result of an update or may get fixed by one.

That exact thing happened to me today for the first time. I was stopped at a light on a slight uphill and the car started slowly rolling backwards. I hit the brake to stop it, then thought that maybe I didn't have my foot all the way off the accelerator when it started rolling. Before I could test it, the light changed. I'm going to find somewhere to experiment and see if I can make it happen again.

My auto hold got reset when 2.4.2 installed (also wiping out my charge schedule and turning off 1pd). Did you double check it was still enabled?

well that's a pisser. Have you been getting OTA's or dealer installed updates?

Hi. I do not have received my Mach-e yet, but with my actual car I have experienced that Auto Hold only works when I come to complete stand-still by pushing the brake. When I do not push until the complete stand still, no Auto Hold. Perhaps simular as with one pedal you are not using the brake?

Mine just started doing the same thing within the last week or ten days after being perfect since delivery in September. Even started rolling on me a couple of times right after starting up and putting it into reverse. I’ve found that toggling auto-hold seems to make it engage again for a while. (Meaning, turn it off and then on again.)

I’m guessing this is a bug introduced in a recent update. I know there’s some update related to brakes in the pipeline; I’m hoping that does it.

Good afternoon! I'd like to take a closer look at the rolling concerns you have with your Mach-E. Can you send over a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer?
