If you want to understand why your Mach-e is doing something unexpected search the forum.
My Mach-e was charing past the 90% limit I had set in both my home and work locations. Ford had no idea. Searched the forum and found out the car may not recognize where it is unless it is on when plugged in. Ford blue oval help had no clue and suggested I bring it into the dealer for service. Today I just verified it works correctly when the car is on when you plug it in. Still does not explain why it charges to 105% when it does not know it is at you home or work. There is a huge wealth of knowledge on this forum.
