Sequence of OTAs

Does it matter that I just got 1.4 but 1.6 arrived 2 weeks ago.?

As far as I understand, the OTA can contain software for different modules each time.
So 1.4 and 1.6 might not overlap.
Also, the OTA upgrade doesn't know if you have been partially patched at the dealers,so there must be basic logic like comparing the versions of the various submodules and not blindly overwriting.

I agree it's confusing, but I wouldn't worry.

Hope not. Same timeline for my car.
There has been no indication that the OTA updates are cumulative or need to be sequential.
