Service recommendations?

My MME is ready for 10K maintenance. Can anyone, based on experience, recommend a fairly priced, good, knowledgeable dealer to do the work? Preferably more to the north as I live on Whidbey. Thanks for any suggestions.

It’s a tire rotation, that’s it. You can get it done at any tire store or do it yourself. At 20k it’ll include a cabin air filter that takes 10 minutes to change yourself.

It is a bit more than a tire rotation. Nothing much more than what is done on an ICE car other than removing the plastic to get at the fluids, so no "EV expert" needed.

If you go into the Ford app and select Service and then Maintenace Schedule, it will show all the things that should be done.

Correct advice has to be do precisely as the Manufacturer specifies to avoid the risk of future problems getting things done when/if things happen to go wrong and you haven’t had the car properly serviced and maintained.

I just had my 10k service done. The dealer service department steered me over to their Quicklane. The paperwork (which was labeled "battery electric vehicle checkup") listed a bunch of things checked/inspected and a tire rotation. Cost was less than $20, paid with FP points. Took less than an hour.

In south King county Washington, I had a great experience with Sound Ford in Renton - they called me the night before and asked if I'd like to have them pickup my car up, take it in for me, and bring it home - get this part - for free! Unable to detect the catch, I agreed and found the service exactly as pitched - White-glove round-trip valet service from my doorstep twenty-five minutes away for free. Deal of the century, if you ask me. Ford Motor company got shafted based on the invoice I saw for the stealership's charges to update the module firmware and perform a recall, but all I paid was the same $52.93 they would've charged me if I'd driven it myself and sat there for hours in the lobby.

TBF to the dealer, it will be Ford who agreed or probably told the dealer by way of their internal systems that things need updating, checking or otherwise actioning in “soft” or safety recalls or TSBs.

Ford wouldn’t pay for anything unnecessary.

Bickford Ford in Snohomish has been very good. 10K is more of an inspection of fluids, brakes, CV joints and boots, etc. They will rotate the tires, but mostly just a break in inspection to make sure that nothing is misbehaving.

Bickford also had a mobile service unit. Today is the 2nd time they are sending a mobile tech to the house, saving me time and hassle, as I work from home Mondays.

I live outside Sound Ford’s mobile service radius, which was why I was surprised at their offer of valet service.
