Not at all charging station where the port is in the rear of the car. Some places you get a ticket for backing in
Where do you get a ticket for backing in to a charging spot? Some places you get a ticket for backing in
Why?Plug-in hybrids should be banned from public chargers ?
They can always get more calories at any Dino-juice dispensary. EVs can only get calories from chargers (which are sometimes very congested). Why?
The charger in that pic doesn't look congested. They can always get more calories at any Dino-juice dispensary. EVs can only get calories from chargers (which are sometimes very congested).
I agree. The only places I’ve seen very congested chargers are in the Las Vegas area. It’s insane out there. Others on here have reported very crowded chargers in California. The charger in that pic doesn't look congested.
We're just talking about Level 2, right?I agree. The only places I’ve seen very congested chargers are in the Las Vegas area. It’s insane out there. Others on here have reported very crowded chargers in California.
All the chargers in Las Vegas that I used were level 3 chargers. The hotel I stayed at did not have any Level 2 chargers (that I was aware of). We're just talking about Level 2, right?
Then it's moot because almost no PHEVs support DCFC at all. The Outlander has CHAdeMO, but that never made sense to me since gas would be faster and likely cheaper for a PHEV on a road trip. All the chargers in Las Vegas that I used were level 3 chargers. Not with my wife's new Model 3. It just shows you parking spots it sees on the screen and lets you select one with a finger press, then press a Start button, then the car just parks it with backend in. I have not had it fail at all.Backing in is hard to do. ?![]()
