Buy an extended warranty. We got a 10-year Ford extended warranty for $1,500. I typically don't buy extended warranties, but at that price, for a car with all new techonology, it is a bargain. And a heck of a lot cheaper than getting a Merc---which, by the way, is a heck of a lot uglier than the Mach-E (on the outside--the inside looks gorgeous).

Sounds like you've already decided. Enjoy the Merc.
For sure dripping with confirmation bias.

It reads like it’s a financial decision, but there is no doubt keeping the existing car will be less expensive than leasing a $95k Mercedes.

It’s not really a financial question though. If the OP like the other car better, buy it. But don’t trick yourself into thinking it’ll save you $$.

That said DO NOT take any of those terrible offers. Try to sell it private party or see what the Mercedes dealer will give in trade.

The numbers are also skewed as you likely didn’t pay $70k since you would have gotten a $7500 tax credit last year.

I would also consider a USED EQE. You can buy them with almost no miles 2023 (1k miles) in the 50s-

My wife love's her Mach-e but I probably won't keep it for more than 2 years (it's currently 18 months old). But I am concerned about the value if I hold onto it as I am getting offers now of $30-38K on the vehicle which is a 70K GTPE. Given the current Ford discounts and move to the Tesla NACS in 2025, I am wondering if I should jump on an offer of $41K from CarMax (expires tomorrow). I am looking at a $95K Mercedes EQE that I can lease for under $700/month with only first months payment due at signing.

Any thoughts?
You are saying you only have to pay 1st month payment on the MB and lease for less than $700/month? No money down? How many years? Sounds pretty amazing on a $95K vehicle. No deal like that in California.

Yeah, those numbers don’t line up with what I see.

On a $77k EQE, it’s $749/mo with $7344 due at signing. The more expensive one is $869/mo with an even larger down payment.
