That’s kind of what I think too.

For my needs the charge curve isn’t really that important, although I’d like to travel more in it. Now that the Tesla charges are open it shouldn’t be a problem.

I’ve been in a hurry for the last 61 years, it’s time to slow down anyway.

I’m probably going to get another 2024 premium like I have. these are really, really nice cars.

They write me a check.
What I negotiate and pay is just like anyone walking in.

There are some good deals on the 2023 models and just a little off on the 2024 models.

They issue me a check and what I can negotiate is up to me. Just like anyone else coming in to buy a vehicle.

Might look at the Hyundai again and possibly the Tesla's.

I drove a Ioniq 6 and it was nice but feel I would like to have the room of the Ioniq 5.
Seems like you always need to haul something.

The Tesla's are just not nearly as nice as the Ford's on the inside and for that matter neither are the Hyundai's.
Maybe Genesis GV60 or GV70?

I've decided to move on... to another Mach E.

Now if the dealer I put an offer on the 24 GT will accept it, I'll get it.
Otherwise I'm back in a Premium, 2024.
I just don't know if the $8500 difference is worth it to me for the GT.

I've driven the model 3 & Y Tesla's and went and drove the Ioniq 5 & 6 and just prefer the Mache E. It's a beautiful car. I'm sure these other vehicles have some better traits but in the end it comes down to personal preference.

Thanks for the input guys.

Maybe Genesis GV60 or GV70?
When I started checking out other options, I thought the "GV70 Electrified" was going to be one until I saw it in person. Specs were great and it was nearly identical in size to the Mach E in length, width, and height - and the size of the Mach E was perfect for us.

But when we drove it, my wife said it felt cramped compared to the Mach E. Being an electrified ICE car, it has a transmission hump and doesn't have the interior space efficiency of a ground-up EV platform. Also, the Lexicon audio in that did not live up to the one in my 2012 Genesis Sedan.

We ended up with a GV60 Performance for less than it would have cost to lease a GTPE (and a month later, I would have saved even more.)

The GV60 is shorter than the Mach E but doesn't seem to lose much in the passenger compartment. 6-foot+ folks don't seem to mind the back seats (which are heated.) Maybe the rear cargo space is a little smaller? The frunk is tiny with no remote release, though.

The B&O audio in the GV60 is significantly better than the B&O in the Mach E. It will play discrete surround sound - multichannel flac or wav files - and even Dolby and DTS surround sound videos.

The front seats are way more adjustable and comfortable than the Mach E's and they are ventilated as well as heated.

The Performance has an adaptive suspension and the ride quality is much more comfortable for us. The cabin is also *quiet*.

Some of the styling is a bit too flash and some of the features are a little gimmicky but at worst are easy to ignore and at best are surprisingly thoughtful. (Some basic seat controls on the left side of the passenger seat, for example, allows the driver to move the passenger seat which is nice when somebody - front or rear might need some extra room for ingress/egress.)

The 235 EPA range seems low compared to my 21's 270 but with my driving so far, I'm getting more range on the GV60 GOM than I was on the Mach E's.

The Highway Driver Assist, although not hands-free, is better than the BC 1.0 in my '21. And all connected services are complimentary for life for the original owner.

At least for now, Genesis includes 3 years of free EA sessions (up to 30 minutes.) I tested a 150kW EA charger and it delivered a near-constant ~150kW from about 18% to 80%. I rarely road trip but free fuel and a better charge curve might get me going further in this car. (It will charge even faster on a 350kW charger but I haven't had the opportunity to test that yet.)

The battery/powertrain warranty is 10/100k and the bumper-to-bumper is 5/60k. I would not have kept my Mach E at the end of the 3 year Options contract without dropping another $2k+ on an extended warranty and maybe another $600 for 3 years of BlueCruise. The free connected services and longer B2B will be positive factors when I evaluate whether to keep the GV60 longer than the 3 year lease.

I miss two things about the Mach E:
  • Wireless Android Auto (mostly because I can't use a USB drive with lossless/surround audio files and AA at the same time) Wireless AA/CP may be coming via update in the next month or so but I'm not holding by breath.
  • Walk-away locking. (But the Genesis app will notify me within five minutes and offer to lock the car the car remotely.)
Other points in the Mach E's favor: Frunk size (but I barely used the Mach E frunk) and the thermal coating on the Mach E's roof glass was significantly better. The GV60 does have a built-in power shade that solves the problem albeit at the expense of the airy/open feel.

Also, I could never get close to Ford's claimed 4.8s 0-60 (with 1-foot rollout) with my 4X. I think I got 5.3 once at 100% charge. The GV60P will do 4.1 with surprising consistency (and 3.8-3.9 with 1-foot rollout) from 45% to 95%.

If Lincoln made a slightly more compact version of the Mach E GT, I think it would be a lot like the GV60P.

I loved my Mach E - the ride quality was our only significant gripe though the audio was a bit of a downgrade from my 2012 Genesis Sedan. If the value hadn't fallen so far below the buyout (largely due to bad luck unique to my situation) I might not have even looks for post-Options options. I had intended to keep it forever and only did Options because the extra incentive was greater than the interest. But 2.5 months and 2,000 miles in, the GV60P is the right vehicle for us at this point in our lives.

I must have been very lucky. I have a 2021 Select and have had no real issues. I am at 37 months and around 34K miles.
Ditto, 2021 with 90,350 miles at 37mths and no real problems?
