Unfortunately, I cannot go out and "pick one up" at the moment as I'm in a "quiet period" and cannot sell the company stock necessary to pay cash. (That quiet period will be through sometime in March.)

So finance it for a few months and then payoff the note early. A few hundred dollars in interest won’t make or break you.

I could. I just don't want to deal with all the extra paperwork and other stuff. I was already content to wait for however long it would take to get production going. And I can wait until March to potentially take advantage of an opportunity that might present itself to me locally. I'm just minorly chuffed that Ford would built out cars speced identical to my order and just ship them off to dealers instead of filling that order.

I also did this, finance them pay it off in a few months. It may be a little bit more paperwork but it's not as complicated as dealing with stock sales that can't happen at the exact right time/price.

I ordered a Premium SR RWD October 12, 2022, still waiting on a production date.
I think I've seen people scheduled through the first or second week in March, which would put delivery around mid April.
When I ordered, estimated delivery was 18 - 24 weeks, which would also be mid-April for me...so I'm guessing it will be after that at this point.
